I used to go to the St Lukes branch, but I recently found out it has closed. However, I had a great ...experience at the CBD location—lovely staff and a very knowledgeable optometrist. I’ll definitely continue going there. It’s just a pity they don’t offer contact lens services. Unfortunately, as I wear both glasses and contacts, I’ll need to visit another optometrist for my contact lens checks, which is a little inconvenient. See more

My eye test at Oscar Wylee was a relaxing experience, it was in two parts, the first eye test was fo...r the health or condition of the eyes and the eyesight, the second examination was for the optic nerve health and glaucoma. The optometrist was excellent she guided me through the eye test helping me to feel at ease, all went well and it was reassuring to know my eyesight and eye health was stable and the prescription for glasses was also emailed to me. I'm happy to have the correct lenses and to receive the wonderful customer service with selecting the very nice frames, thankyou. See more

There are three opticians lined up right next to each other, but I chose this place because they had... the best customer service by far! The prices were surprisingly cheap, just like the ads, and they gave me a really thorough explanation, so I was able to get the glasses I wanted... but the reading part of the prescription isn't quite right. Regarding the transition lenses, I was able to check the colours before they were made. However, I didn't get the double vision (bifocals) at first because I was a bit worried about how they’d affect my vision and how easy they’d be to use. When I decided to add the double vision later on, it was treated as a change of mind on my part, so I had to pay for the lenses again. But even though the intermediate vision improved a bit, I still can’t see things up close properly. I know that how you see can depend on different conditions, but I find myself taking them off unless I’m driving and constantly looking into the distance. That being said, like I mentioned earlier, the customer service here is hands down the best! Out of all the opticians I’ve been to, they are definitely the most friendly, helpful, and pleasant to deal with. See more

Dropped in while running errands because I was thinking about getting my first prescription sunglass...es - I’m so bad with names, but the optometrist was a very sweet woman with a purple streak in her hair and she was so helpful! Felt very comfortable browsing and trying different frames at my leisure, and once I had settled on a few frames she helped me choose lenses, compare the tint colour options, etc. She also did an eye test to make sure my prescription was still up to date, and the process was explained to me a lot better than the last time I’d had it done at another provider. I’m new-ish to wearing glasses, and really appreciated the care taken. Highly recommend. See more
