Can I try on the frames before I buy?

Of course! We want your Oscar Wylee glasses to be the perfect fit for your face before you commit to a purchase.

We have locations in New Zealand where you'll be able to try on our entire range of optical and sunglass frames!

I really like your frames. Are there different sizes available?

Each style is available in one size only. To find the perfect frames, visit one of our stores.

My frames don't fit perfectly. What can I do?

You can have your OW glasses adjusted free during the life of your glasses. Head in store and a member of the team will be able to help your glasses give the perfect fit!

If you are not near an OW store, other Optometrists should be able to help with adjustments. Sometimes they will apply heat to frames to make them more malleable for adjusting. Direct heating applied to lenses can cause distortions and damage the lenses, so make sure to ask your Optometrist to avoid heating the lenses.

If you have any other questions or concerns please contact us.

What are your glasses made of?

Oscar Wylee frames are made of premium materials. From custom cellulose acetate, high-quality stainless steel, to ultra-lightweight titanium and ultemThese frames are complemented by some of the sturdiest hinges for absolute comfort and durability. Each frame passes through numerous stages of production and polished to ensure a strong lustre.

Where are your glasses made?

All the high-quality material used to create Oscar Wylee frames are sourced from various manufacturers and assembled in China. We have personally visited these factories to oversee the manufacturing processes and working conditions. After each individual frame has passed its inspection and strict quality assurance phases, we custom-cut your prescription lenses.

The colour looks a little different from the picture, why?

All our frames are hand made from sheets of acetate and this can sometimes lead to the frame being slightly different from the display images or display frames in store. Most of the time, the frames still look just as amazing.

If you are not happy with the colour placement, visit your local store or contact us and we will look into this for you.

What lens would you recommend for your half-rim (Nylon) frames?

We recommend that all our half-rim styles are purchased with our Thin & Light, 1.6 index lenses or above. Any orders with standard lenses that chip or crack will not be covered by Oscar Wylee's standard lens replacement warranty.
